Source totals before college matching: 2024 AIQ 12,761 seats; 2024 DNB 6,804; 2025 AIQ 12,678; 2025 DNB 8,893. These are the named snapshots, not final seats after every revision. Unresolved college identities are retained for review and are not assigned to a candidate’s college.
The supplied 2026 NMC sanctioned-intake snapshot is also loaded. It counts all quotas and excludes pending increases/new approvals; it is not a 2026 MCC counselling matrix.
Historical NMC intake
Official NMC 2025–26 notice, as of 30 January 2026 includes prior-year and current-year sanctioned counts. Reviewed entity pages reconcile these counts to source pages before showing a 2025→2026 sanctioned-intake difference. This is separate from MCC quota/category availability.
Closing-rank coverage
2024 and 2025 Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and stray results are loaded. The newly imported 2024 Round 2 final result adds 16,181 allotments. A blank in an individual seat’s history means no matching allotment is recorded for that exact course, quota, category and round; it does not mean a zero cutoff.
The supplied December 2025 Round 2 and February 2026 stray PDFs already matched the loaded 2025-session files byte for byte. They were not counted twice.

Still missing
- 2026-session MCC counselling matrices: not located in the official pages checked. No 2026 counselling-seat growth is assumed.
- Complete source-page reconciliation for historical NMC counts outside the reviewed entity-page batch. Reviewed college–specialty pages now cite the 2025–26 NMC notice, which includes 2024 and 2025 intake.
- Complete central/deemed and state-quota matrices, plus later-round additions, removals and vacancy snapshots.
- College- and session-specific fee orders, hostel charges, deposits, bond terms and actual stipend schedules for colleges without a verified financial record. Seat matrices and allotment results do not establish these amounts.
Check the official MCC PG archive and current PG notices for documents and revisions. For fees and stipends, use the college’s current admission prospectus or the applicable government order.
An initial-matrix change describes two published snapshots. It is not evidence of additional sanctioned seats, a later-round vacancy count, or a prediction of the next year’s closing rank.
